The Pristina municipality last week decided that public nests should have a month off, unlike the early years when they had only two weeks.
And parents are commenting on this local government decision in various ways.
It's hard, it's a problem, you need to manage the situation with your family, with my mother-in-law, but I also need to respect the rights of the teachers that they also need to push”, a mother who has a child at a public nursery in Pristina has expressed.
Another parent has indicated that it is best to rest the nests a month after a change in educators is adversely affecting children.
Many of the tutors wouldn't be here, so it's worse for children to learn with someone else who doesn't constantly learn”, says another parent.
The community is reviewing this decision after several complaints have come from various parents.
We're going to consider two things, the parents' case where they're going to leave their children, and the children's right to tutors for their annual holiday. Among these two will be an appropriate decision for both sides”, Pristina municipality spokesman Adonis Tahiri has indicated.
