The Kosovo-Montenegro demarcation agreement has entered into force on 4 June.
On behalf of the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs, our country's ambassador to Montenegro, Skender Durmishi, handed the mark to the director-general for Montenegrin international legal affairs, Tatjana Raspopovic.
The Montenegrin “Pala has been informed that Kosovo has completed the internal legal procedures needed for the entry into force of the State Border Agreement between the two countries signed in Vienna on August 26th 2015”, writes on the verbal note, Montenegro's radio television report (RTCG), broadcast Telegraphy.
As announced by Montenegro's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in accordance with Article 12 of the Agreement, the date of Kosovo's grade delivery is also the time when the agreement has entered into force, as both sides have met the internal legal procedures needed for its entry into force.
Montenegro had ratified the agreement in late December 2015, writes further in the statement.
Otherwise, Kosovo has ratified the demarcation agreement on 21 March of this year. /Telegraphy/
