The sewer management projects are extremely important and will have the support of the Government of Kosovo. So said Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, after meeting Switzerland's ambassador to Kosovo, Jean ébert Lebet, and the deputy head of the Swiss Office for Co-operation, Bernhard Soland, with whom he discussed the possibility of developing future projects in the field of sewage management.
Prime Minister Haradinaj said Kosovo has welcomed up-to-date Swiss investments, which total the value of 100m euros since the post-war, and that it is committed to co-operating in future projects, separately in those dealing with the downing of environmental damage and conservation.
Kosovo is open to accept direct foreign investments dealing with sewage management. Currently there are several projects which are in the implementation phase, but there are others which are being planned”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said, pledging that the Government he heads will take on necessary pledges dealing with the development of these projects, which are being monitored by the inter-ministerial council.
Switzerland's ambassador to Kosovo, Jean-Hubert Lebet, thanked Prime Minister Haradinaj for waiting and offering co-operation in projects initiated by his state, adding that Switzerland will continue to support Kosovo through concrete projects in the field of water management.
