Unofficially, however, the call is expected to take place late or tomorrow, reports Alsat M.
Former Macedonian Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki, referring to his diplomatic sources, warns that this Thursday or Friday the two prime ministers will meet in Prespa Minor and sign the agreement.
This meeting is expected to choose a several-year dispute with Greece over Macedonia's official name.
The main co-ordinator of the event, according to former Minister Milososki, will be the prime minister's adviser, Bojan Maric. While also unofficially, the US have given Zaev a deadline to declare until Saturday the deal. Government spokesman Bosnjakovski refuses to comment.
“E know that unofficial information has never allowed us to comment, regardless of what sources come from until they have credibility and legitimacy”, Macedonian Government spokesman Mile Bosnjakovski was quoted as saying.
On the other hand, the Greek deputy foreign minister is not disturbed by the delay in the conversation.
“We are close to the agreement and are awaiting the decisions of the IRJM prime minister. I am not worried about the delay in the process, because the other side needs time to review the” agreement, Janis Amanatidis, Greece's deputy foreign minister, has declared.
On the other hand, against using the term “Macedonia” today will protest in dozens of cities in Greece. Greek Government spokesman Canakopoulos said it is the sacred right of citizens to oppose power policies, but that in this case the Government is protecting the national line. This time around, however, the Greek Orthodox Church does not offer support, as in the February protest. /Alsat M/
