At the invitation of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo Behgjet Pacolli, a group of editors editors, journalists and photo-reporters indicted near the United Nations headquarters in New York for some of the most important international media will visit our country.
The group, composed of Foreign Policy, Al Jazeera, UN Insider, Deutsche Welle, The Guardian and other media will stay for several days in Kosovo; there will be high-level meetings with the country's leaders, local-level ones, and will visit the most important historical parts, cultural heritage and tourist heritage.
The purpose of this visit is for international media to closely convey developments and progress that have been made in the country since the declaration of Independence and at a time when diplomatic efforts for Kosovo's full and equal membership in the United Nations have been stepped up.
Kosovo's “Affirmation as a success story of the partnership between our and Western institutions and promoting a better image of the country in foreign relations has been one of the top priorities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Pacoli, which he has been vigorously engaged for since the admission of a” mandate, says the MPJ report to the media.
