After the reanimation of the Emergency Centre reanimation team, five patients who were in clinical death, were immediately subjected to angiography-straining, or cardiosurgic intervention.
They have received several days of treatment under Central Intensive Medicine, Coronary Units, or Cardiosurgeology, and now from the state of clinical death, they enjoy good health.
Five patients have been released in good health care treatment, thanks to team co-operation among various services at QKUK.
KKUK has been in 24-hour operation for months to handle all cases of acute heart attacks that need immediate intervention.
The complicated operations continue to take place in cardiosurgy service, such an intervention has been performed on the 56-year-old patient diagnosed as bicusspidal valves (born) and with advanced insulin of this valve, expanding ascendent aortes over 6cm, coronary arteries, sugar and kidney disease. The patient was subjected to complex heart surgery with complete success.
The operation was successful in replacing the aortal valve, changing the ascendent device, remanding coronary arteries. The patient was also able to remove the atherosclerotic plaque from the coronary artery and the realisation of three aorto-coronar vessels.
The operation was carried out by Arber Kutlovci, cardiosurgeon, and Adem Grbolar, cardiovascular surgeon. The team was supported by a staff of over 15 health professionals.
After the cardiosurgic intervention, the patient is released home on the sixth day post-opworker with good general and local conditions.
