Lack of medicines, doctors warn strike

The lack of drugs is exasperating patients who have been waiting for months, but doctors who are not able to perform services are also having problems with patients. So said Health Union Federation chairman Blerim Syla.
According to Syla, the situation is serious and the work has been very difficult for the staff.

“We have a total lack of drugs and rescue material and as a result we can't provide services, sometimes operating programs” are being shut down, Syla said.

This situation brings problems to health workers and often we feel threatened and offended by the parties”, he said.

Syla did not rule out the strike as a means to demand that the situation improve.

“We are expecting reflections by the minister on the contrary to the Federation's top bodies will take the necessary steps at the right time, not excluding any form of reaction”, he said.
