The first of VV, Albin Kurti, said corruption and crime have no ban on Kosovo Telecom. Professor Ismet Hamiti, however, said that the telecom has trade and that the history of this sector is extremely painful.
This sector is the worst government sector since the post-war. The telecommunication has one component, the one of security that has a lot to say about. In this sector we have two participants, the company and the market. Sector Policy included vision and the goals of key participants in the service providers, consumers and potential investors. This policy prevents dealing with various problems in the fragmented sector and under pressure from different groups”, Hamiti stressed.
According to him, the telecom has been able to cover even its current expenses.
The “is in this state because profits have been looted through different mechanisms. Through a mechanism called Mobile Z, telecoms robbed at least 30% of revenues”, Hamiti added.
He said the robbery was ordered by individuals at high levels of government and party, PTK leaders, directors of the boards, defended the ministers, silenced the prime ministers while the prosecution and justice failed.
