Kosovo-Serbia dialogue actors have long been defined, Bekim Colak, chief of President Hashim Thaci's cabinet, has told the paper Tuesday. And from Kosovo, according to him, as an actor, Thaci is seen, writes today Koha Ditore.
And this isn't just about the function of head of state that it now has.
The dialogue on normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia at the political level launched on October 19th 2012 has been launched and led almost consistently by Thaci, as long as there was the post of prime minister, except in the period when the same process has been led by former Government head Isa Mustafa. But even at this time, he was accompanied by Thaci, who in Government Mustafa has held the post of deputy prime minister and foreign affairs minister.
After being elected as president of the state on February 26th 2016, Thaci has again continued to represent Kosovo at meetings held within the dialogue process.
