According to the police, in terms of the rule and general security everything has gone according to the previous operational plan.

Regarding traditional religious Orthodox activities and manifestations of the holiday of Veddovdanı, Kosovo Police say they have over time undertaken all preliminary actions, preparing the operational plan for managing the security situation.

“As far as security is concerned, the Kosovo Police with its relevant units according to the operational plan have always taken care of the management of manifestations, in order to pass smoothly and without incident. Police units have also been engaged in the management of traffic, redirecting vehicles to alternative roads during the time, while passing escorts or vehicles that were part of the manifesto, which were under police escorts. Cutting off the temporary circulation of these roads has occurred at brief intervals of time. Referenced to field assessments in these manifestations took part in about 700 (seven hundred) participants, who have organisedly participated in Gracanica and Gazimestan of the Pristina region, said the Police report.

During the development of all manifestation activities in both DDRP Pristina and the DDRP Mitrovica north, in terms of the aspect of order and overall security everything has gone along with the previous operational plan and no incidents have been marked. /
