This is happening after Germany is offering them jobs under favourable conditions.
Bedri Xhafa, general director of the APPK, has said the number of students wanting employment abroad is huge.
The fifth generation is on its way to becoming a professional framework, to care for the elderly, and as they graduate and continue employment in the country where they've done their proficiency”, says the director. APPK said Xhafa.
As a result, according to health professionals, for a short time Kosovo will lack doctors.
“With the wages we work with, a large part of our new colleagues, are not looking for perspective here, and every day and more they are filling the European labour market”, says Xhemajl Selmani, chairman of the Kosovo University Clinical Centre Union, which shows that the average age of doctors in Kosovo is over 50 years.
So far it is thought that Kosovo has been released by over 500 doctors and nurses.
