80 to 100 thousand euros are estimated to be the damage that the company Bachtel Enka neighborhood residents “Kukaj” of the Kacanik municipality have caused.

These damage occurred early in February due to floods involving ten village houses, as a result of construction of one of the bridges of the <x0-> Arber Xhaferi” highway, KTV reports.

Residents show that nothing has been repaid so far, and except municipal officials, there had been no one else to make the assessments.

Since institutions have undertaken nothing so far, they say they have initiated legal procedures.

Residents' incidents also state to Kachanik municipality chairman Besim Ilazi.
Ilazi explains that all arrangements made by the municipality are addressed to the Ministry of Infrastructure, which they have demanded that Bechtel Enka take on responsibilities.

At the Ministry of Infrastructure, they have said that they are not doing an assessment of damage to property, but only for fixing the channel.

While in the company, which is performing the works, they have not indicated whether they have been contacted on the matter by the ministry.

The inhabitants of this section of the neighborhood “Kukaj” were swept by flooding three more times.
