As the foreign media report reports, Telegrafi, Bukhari, editor of the newspaper Risting Kasmir, was shot at a close distance in the attack in which his two security officers were also killed.
It becomes known that he was attacked when he had left his office in town to return home. He was hit by multiple bullets at close range. The killers emptied their victims before leaving the scene.
Indian police say the killers were waiting for Shujaat Buhari to leave the building and seem to have been a planned attack.
However, it was not clear who were responsible for the attack, the police chief said.
“About 7: 30 a.m. today, as he was leaving his office and boarded his car, three terrorists who had come on a motorcycle opened fire. Two of the security officers were shot before they could react to”, he said.
They (terrorists) chose the time when everyone was rushing home. We will see who these people are”, he added.
