Parliamentary debate is continuing in the Kosovo Assembly about the medium-term cost framework 2019-2021.
LDK GP chief Avdullah Hoti said this framework made clear as the election promises that even the 2017-2021 governing programme has been and is fraud.
“We have analysed this document in the details, and we appreciate that this document translates the lack of vision of this government, as to where Kosovo society and economy should go. The document made it clear that this coalition has no knowledge nor commitment to providing a government, which is for the citizens of the country. I'll talk next about how the election promises were reflected in this document. The promise of economic growth of between 7 and 8 percent has clearly been fraud, since growth of 4 to 5 percent in the framework has been preceded. The creation of thousands of new jobs has also been fraud. The only persons who appear to be employed during this mandate are 522 members of the government cabinet with 22 ministers with 220 cabinet members with 70 deputy ministers with 210 persons in their service now and with national co-ordinator”, he said.
While, Finance Minister Bedri Hamza said this document reflects Government commitment to addressing developmental challenges.
“Document reflecting the government's commitment to addressing long-term development challenges generating in our strategic documents such as the Government's programme, economic reform programme, the national programme for implementation of the SAA, the strategy for economic development and other strategic documents ... As far as growth for 2019, real growth is expected to be about 5 percent. And in the next two years and higher than 5 percent, reaching 5.3 percent in 2021”, he said.
Parliamentary debate over mid-term spending framework 2019-2021 is continuing.
