The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has hosted a 14-member delegation, former military and civilian from various countries in the world who have served in Kosovo from post-war, during the KPC transition phase at KSF, as representatives of the NATO Council Team.
In this case, Prime Minister Haradinaj thanked the delegation for supporting Kosovo in transition periods, with particular emphasis he thanked NATO experts who have worked on transforming the Kosovo Protection Corps into the Kosovo Security Force.
The “has become a big deal by NATO forces teams, and for that we are grateful to the North-Atlantic Alliance all our life. The Kosovo Security Force today is a multiethnic, professional and prepared force according to NATO standards, ready to contribute to peace in Kosovo, in the region and the world”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Haradinaj also spoke of the processes the country is going through, stressing that Kosovo has noted progress and now awaits the big opportunity to travel without visas.
“Although we have fulfilled all the criteria, we are the only country that cannot freely move”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said, convinced that Kosovo citizens will soon receive the long-awaited news of visa liberalisation.
Kosovo's membership in various international organisations has also been discussed at this meeting.
On the other hand, the 14-member delegation, former military and civilian, thanked Prime Minister Haradinaj for the reception, expressing readiness for further co-operation and assistance for Kosovo.
