Kosovo Prime Minister and AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj said that now is the time to approach the European Parliament, since the biggest job is there because, as said “Kosovo has fulfilled the 95 criteria for visa liberalisation”.
These first statements by the Government of Kosovo were made during the establishment of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo's Steering Assembly, where 73 members as oath signs were awarded certificates.
Viewing the visa liberalisation process amiss, Haradinaj said everyone should commit to putting this issue into the European Parliament agenda.
The executive leader has considered the state of Kosovo lucky that now the EU Council has not discussed visa liberalisation, but the opening of negotiations for Macedonia and Albania.
We will have the Commission's assessment of the Commission and the Commission sometime until 12 July. Our people, who are around the EU Parliament, must now activate consul, send ambassadors, diplomatic staff, but all those who have access and access to Parliament must be activated for the agenda. Now is the time when we have to approach the EU Parliament, the work in Kosovo has been carried out the 95 visa liberalisation criteria are done, but now it's working there, but it's not automatism that we've done the criteria and it happens, now we all have to deal with it. It would be good to be spending a great time too, as chairman of the government, the EU Parliament “, he said.
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj expressed scepticism about the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, as according to him the best way to get tangible results is to introduce a new power, such as America or any European state.
I am skeptical that there is a result in this dialogue, because they are the same people, it is Moghrini and Angelina Eichhorst, who are there the same for five years since President Thaci, President Vuciq, are the same. I don't understand that these guys all at once can change something, nothing different happened, I don't understand why things move right away. The only way to do something different in dialogue is to introduce new power, something that hasn't existed until today, otherwise imagine going back to Brussels without the power agreement, which is even small. We've applied for a new power in dialogue with Americans, if Americans say it's Europe's theme, we're sitting on tables, it says let a European state of dialogue take over, let the EU help, not with the EU, but let Germany take it, let it help”, Haradinaj said.
According to him, it is a mistake to think that by helping the dialogue process, we arrive more easily at other important processes for Kosovo.
During the framework of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Steering Council, the chairman of this party, Ramush Haradinaj, also spoke of transforming the Kosovo Security Force into the military.
Saying it is preferable for any one to have this transformation made with constitutional changes, he indicated he has done his best to convince Kosovo Serbs to vote on the transformation of KSF into the military.
If we go by the law, our constitution foresees this right that stems from Article 126 and from all the constitutional and legal parameters that our Constitution has given us, we don't create internal tensions, we don't invite unnecessary parties to debate, that it does not depend on anyone else, we move forward. That's what I'm doing with the greatest care of”, he said.
In the quality of AAK chairman Ramush Haradinaj said that by September the party he leads is ready to achieve new successes as a political subject, Kosova Prees reports.
