US hands over Panama to former President Martinelli

Martinelli was arrested last year in the US after Panama had demanded his extradition due to allegations of misuse of public funds to spy on over 150 political opponents during his 2009-2014 mandate.
He was arrested in June 2017 near Miami, where he lived after leaving the country in 2015.
