About 72.5m euros have increased government spending in 2017 compared to the previous year.
During 2017 the total cost of the General Government was 1,836.2m euros, with most of the expenses making up wages and wages.
So says the Kosovo Statistics Agency report (ASK) on the Government accounts of Kosovo for 2017, which presents the revenue and government spending mirror within this period.
“General Government in 2017 was 1 921.2 million Euro. Compared to the previous year, there was a 8% increase in revenues. Most of the revenues make up taxes on products, which represent 68% of total revenues; income, wealth, etc., which represent 12%; while the rest of the revenues have been distributed into other income categories. In 2017 the total cost of the General Government was $136.2 million. Much of the expenditures make up wages and wages of 30% participation; gross capital formation fixed, with 25% participation; social contributions and benefits, with participation of 23%; medium consumption, with 10% turnout; while the rest of the expenditures have been distributed into other categories of expenditures”, it is said in the communique.
While the total of the General Government spending for 2016 was 1, 764.7m euros.
