According to him, parties have deemed the country unserious and harmful by not taking all the platform points lightly.
He has said opposition parties have charged him with giving the leadership of dialogue to President Hashim Thaci, but adds that this platform has given parliament full competence for ratification of the agreement.
The “Discution has since been set up for a platform and to respect this debate and we took action as a government platform. It was matter on which the Parliament could complete and change. It was not directly understood by the Parliament, as parties launched a parallel table process and as a result I decided to withdraw it. The government is ready to return with its proposal, either to decide consultation with parliamentary parties and to take those proposals that come out of the table. We're open. We want unity around platform”, Haradinaj said of KTV's interactive. “Parliament approves of reaching an agreement and is Article nine that says only Parliament legitimises the agreement. That was the essence and it had to be used by Parliament to take over the” process.
According to Haradinaj, the political scene should be learned as soon as possible about the dialogue and use the <x0 time limit before changes in the EU and elections there”.
If we don't agree now we can lose this step. I ask all colleagues not to be held hostage by the situations and lose the opportunity to reveal what is good for Kosovo”, he has declared.
As for the point of Thaci leading the dialogue, rather than the government, Haradinaj has said that “is not a man of the tables and has no extraordinary negotiating capacity”.
He has added that with Thaci it should be a comprehensive team of members of all parliamentary parties, as well as have members of civil society.
For Thaci's statements that Kosovo can face painful compromises, Haradinaj has said this has been the “language of the temptation to persuade Serbs to sit at table”
For me, it is painful that we should agree with Serbia. We have to agree on mutual recognition. Truth cannot be undone. Only because of those serious crimes has NATO intervened. Agreement is a painful compromise. But this reconciliation is for the benefit of both peoples. For Kosovo, Euro-Atlantic prospects” would be opened, Haradinaj has said.
