The finance ministry has reduced the wages for official trips abroad. This decision has come after numerous media reports and pressure from civil society that in countries with lower standard of living, such as the countries of the region, wages have been higher than in high standard living countries, Koha Ditore writes today.
The decision has undergone “compensation” for trips to Albania. With old tariffs, the wages in this state are paid by 209 euros, while 130 euros will now be paid. These fees include sleeping and food, along with other expenses. So has Macedonia. Another change is seen in Afghanistan and Switzerland. In the Asian country, where only 82 euros has previously been paid wages, but with the new decision of hiring the country amounts to up to 200 euros. For Switzerland, however, they have increased from 251 euros to 320 euros.
