The Gjilan municipality reacts after heavy rainfall, there is also an appeal

The city of Gjilan has today faced heavy rainfall, causing material damage but not even human casualties.

But everything is under control and officials from the Gnjilan municipality have also said. The latter have indicated that the biggest damage from today's rainfall has the VII neighbourhood and neighborhood “Ira”.

The most pronounced rain risks are mainly in some neighborhoods in the city, as in the V neighbourhood III, the “neighbourhood, where there is water leaks through several houses, but the fire crews and those of the Gjilan municipality are interrogating where there is need and the situation is under control”, said their announcement.

After inspection in villages it has become known there is no damage to agricultural cultures.

Otherwise, officials from the Gjilan municipality appeal to drivers to row in line with communications rules so that accidents can be avoided.
