The State forbids giving blood to people who have same sex

People who have sex with the same gender are forbidden in Kosovo to donate blood. This is decidently written in the form of the Kosovo National Centre for Blood Transfusion. In this form, in its latter part, is the part where it says that “you should never donate blood if [...]
In this form, in the latter part of it, is the part where it says that “you should never donate blood if you or your partner are HIV positive, you have the Hpatitis B or C virus, you have intimate relationships with the same gender person or you think you need to run tests for the discovery of transmitting diseases (anti HIV, anti--- HCV, HbsAg etc.
This ban has provoked outrage at LGBTIQ+ community activists.
Lend Mustafa from the CEL organisation has personally been present on a occasion when blood donation stands that are located in Pristina under the sensationalizing week of blood donation being held in several other cities have not been able to donate blood.
The only Lend that started gender change procedure couldn't donate blood because “is in hormonal therapy” but it's completely incomprehensible and scandalous to prevent people from having sex with the same sex to donate blood.
And for Musta, that's also a <x0-wrade” that the state has made to this community after it's said, they've agreed that this would be removed from the form.
"In the form that was required to be completed before blood was drawn, I saw it point out that those who have sex with the same sex cannot donate blood, which was quite surprising because, with my knowledge, at a meeting it has been discussed to remove this from the” form, Lendi Mustafa said about Inseder.

According to him, the prohibition on blood donation for gay persons is absurd.
He has counted only two reasons why this ban continues.
Kosovoers still think that being gay is a disease even though the World Health Organization has removed it from the list of diseases since 1973, and second, it is still thought that all those who have sex with the same sex are all infected, which is completely wrong”, Mustafa said.
According to Mustafa, this approach to the state is so stupid.
This approach with the full meaning of the word is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. There's no way it's working because gay people can give blood not even telling whether they're gay or not. I even address the LGBTI+ community to donate blood without pointing to their sexual orientation”, Mustafa said.
All this for a reason.
If on the form it was suggested that people with a sexually transmitted infection, or if they have doubts that they were infected, then it is not necessary to separate gay persons”, Mustafa said.
