He says the decision is legal and legitimate.
After many reactions if the decision has to be implemented, Arifi has also responded to the EU chief in Kosovo, Natalia Apostolova, telling him that the better wage deal is to deal with dialogue agreements with Serbia.
Arifi recalls that the Constitution has responded to the decision on wages.
“The EU would do well to ensure, instead of challenging such decisions from the area of government responsibilities, implement the agreements it has guaranteed, such as the energy agreement. If, according to experts, Kosovo annually loses 25m euros as a result of failure to implement the energy agreement, then since 2013. Kosovo has lost 150m euros. The EU office in Kosovo today, commenting on the salaries of government officials, was wrong. Kosovo is assisted by implementing the guaranteed energy agreement, rather than giving praise for legitimate political decisions ready as a political party aimed at electoral success”, Arifi says.
