Erdogan won 53 per cent of the vote in Sunday's elections, winning a second term by 2023.
The ruling party had dropped support in parliamentary elections compared to presidential elections, winning 43%, but with support from the National Movement Party that won 11%, Erdogan will have a majority in parliament.
It is possible that there are several names of the Nationalist Party that the president will consider appropriate for the cabinet. In the end, Erdogan will deploy“, a Nationalist Party official said.
Another source within Erdogan's party said it would not be surprising if the president appointed ministers from the Nationalist Party in his new cabinet.
Together, the two parties won 343 seats out of 600, while there is Turkish parliament.
