The three clinics where some of the most severe cases are handled are not enough to supply essential products this year.
The purchase of drugs for which the Health Ministry has allocated 28m euros continues to remain a burden to patients, writes Gazeta “Zri”.
Naser Korca, from Kachanik, who has his wife at the Oncology Clinic at the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo (QKUK), has said that since she started treatment she has had a lack of certain drugs, which he had to buy himself.
More than that, Corca has shown that there has been a shortage of chemotherapy drugs.
I've only bought five ampulas, about 10 euros, it's not expensive. Three weeks ago I was here, there was no drugs at all, and there wasn't any chemotherapy, so the doctor proposed after two or three weeks to come back, and now it was a little better supplied”, he said.
