Education Minister Accepts Kosovo's Quality of Educators Should Improve

Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Shyqiri Bytyqi, attended the “Quality Training and Teaching in Kosovo “, which was aimed at discussing Kosovo teachers' training programmes, needs and requirements for teaching different profiles and the nature of the preparation of these teachers. Bytyqi, in this case, has stressed that the quality preparation of teachers in Kosovo is the most important topic to discuss and work on, aimed at modern education by higher standards.

The quality preparation of teachers is a sacred mission, because the future of our children depends on these young people who are prepared by the Faculty of Education. We will receive a kind of obligation to prepare our young people with necessary skills and quality education, which requires time and according to European standards”, he stressed.

Minister Bytyqi called for the closest co-operation between the Ministry of Education, Education Faculty and international partners so that key investments can be managed in the field of education, with pre-university priorities.

“A close co-operation and a joint commitment will exceed all challenges and education system in Kosovo once and for all will take the right direction, and within the next five years we will no longer discuss a low level of quality, but for the benefit of new methods and teaching techniques, embezzlement and application in our schools”, Bytyqi is expressed.

He has stressed that, GIZ as a supporter of various activities in the field of education, is one of our partners on our journey towards the challenges the education system has in Kosovo.

The table is organised by the University of Pristina Education Faculty, in co-operation with Deutsche Geselschaft fuer Internationale Zusammerbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
