Doctors had told him that he would live only seven months, but Banat from Sydney, Australia, has survived for more than two years. He died this week, but the philanthropist and former businessman have spent the past few years collecting money for poor Muslims worldwide while fighting his deadly disease.
Before he was diagnosed with cancer, Banat led a life of luxury with enormous cost in fast cars, but after becoming ill, he realized that he had run after the wrong things, reports The Independent”, broadcast Periscopi.
A documentary published on YouTube, Ali described his illness as a “gift”.
It was a gift because Allahi gave me a chance to change”.
After receiving his diagnosis, Banati promptly sold his business and travelled to Togo, Africa, a country in which about 55 per cent of the population lives below the poverty line.
