Canadians will be able to buy and consume cannabis legally starting from September.
After Uruguay in 2013, Canada becomes the second country in the world to legalise cannabis.
The possession of cannabis was considered a crime for the first time in Canada in 1923, but since 2001.
In 2015 it is thought that Canadians spent 6 billion Canadian dollars (4.5 billion U.S.) on cannabis, almost as much as they spent on wine.
