Today is World Blood Donation Day

Today is the world day of blood donation

Since 2004 this date has been marked with a campaign to donate blood to save the lives of those in need.

Each year on June 14th in many countries of the world, “World Blood Violence Day” is organised.

The subjects of the campaigns that are organized are different, yet they are aimed at increasing the awareness of the population to donate blood and save lives of those in need.

This day is marked every year in Kosovo, and this year officials of the Health Ministry will organise voluntary delivery of blood in order to raise awareness of the importance of the timely security of blood and its products.

This day also focuses on the thanks of all the voluntary blood donors who save lives every day with their blood donation.
