Bahtiri has great words for opening the Iber River, but no one listens

It has been almost two years since the start of work on revising the bridge over the Iber River in Mitrovica, under the agreement reached on August 25th 2015, between Pristina and Belgrade in Brussels, which coincides with freedom of movement. Mitrovica municipality Chairman Agim Bahtiri, in a pronomation for Telegrafi, has said the bridge over the Iber River is expected to open very soon.
Bahtiri declared two weeks ago that the bridge will open soon, but without setting any date.
He indicated that on Thursday there has been a meeting with the chief of the EU Office in Kosovo, Natalia Apostolova, who is told that there are only a few technical works left at the <x0-Cral Petar” square, which will soon end up making the bridge's final opening over the Iber River.
I've had a meeting with Natalia Apostolova and we've been discussing the opening of the Ibër Bridge, where I've been told that only a few technical works are expected at the Peterhall Square, and everything will be ready for its opening. Soon the opening of the bridge over the Iber” will be, he said.
Mayor Bahtiri also said the bridge is for citizens joining, not for its division.
The bridge is to unite citizens. To enable them to move free, not to separate”, Bahtiri said, among other things.
While politicologist Musa Preteni said Serbia has consistently used Mitrovica to create political moments that have been needed for benefits at the negotiating table in Brussels.
According to him, the bridge over the river will be opened, but is projected for technical causes until Serbia considers it to have achieved the political maximum from this critical point.
The bridge over the Iber River is exactly a critical point, reflecting a disagreement between the two respective countries, Kosovo and Serbia. I think the bridge over the Iber River will be opened for circulation, but it is projected to be due to technical causes by the moment Serbia considers it to have reached the political maximum of this critical point”, Preteni has said in a proposal for Telegrafi.
He also said that from the northern situation of Mitrovica, Serbia has obviously benefited on its path towards the EU, but according to him, Kosovo Serbs continue to gain rights and priorities that no international convention knows.
The political reality in this part of Kosovo has been markedly changed, even in terms of normalising the situation there, while the remaining technical issues are formalities that receive political representation when countries in the negotiations consider it the right moment to maximize as victory staffs. Serbia has even accepted the new political reality created there, where it has apparently worked itself to create such circumstances”, politicalologist Musa Preteni said, among other things.
By contrast, the project funded by the European Union (BE), for the revising of the main bridge in Mitrovica, started on 14 August 2016, worth 1m and 45 thousand euros, under the agreement on freedom of movement reached on 25 August 2015, between Pristina and Belgrade in Brussels.
