Health Minister Uran Ismaili days ago has signed the collective sector contract with the Federation of Kosovo Health Unions.
With this contract, experts are expected to be paid a 45% increase in custody, depending on the day of work, while under budgetary means, there will also be benefits for primary health workers who travel over 5km from the QMF.
However, the realisation of this agreement will occur only after the Law on Salaries is passed in Government.
This increase has been contacted by the Ministry of Finance to ask whether this growth will bring budgetary problems, but in this ministry by not answering this question, they have said that we refer to the Ministry of Health on this matter.

In the Ministry of Health, however, they have told Gazeta Alo that increasing the salaries of caretakers will reflect on the case of a raise in the basic salary, as provided with the Law on Salaries, which an intersectal group of representatives of the Ministry of Public Administration, Ministry of Finance and Health.
The “contrata will be realised overall, while the increase in custody salaries will reflect on the case of increased basic pay, as provided with the Law on Salat”, the Health Ministry's response said.
And on the day of signing this contract, Health Minister Uran Ismaili has said that he expects to pass to the Law on Salaries in June and thus have a completely new situation for medical personnel.
Otherwise, the growth rate in the public sector is continuing. Days ago, the Constitutional Court has found there is no violation of the Government's decision to raise government cabinet salaries.
