After Volkasvagen, another major car manufacturer in Germany is in trouble. It's about the giant “Audi” and yet the problem is gas emissions.
The executive director of “Saudi” has been arrested in Germany Rupert Stadler, following charges of fraud.
The “Audian company” has confirmed the news. The arrest mandate is based on hiding evidence,” said Munich prosecutors.
Audi is accused of selling at least 210,000 cars, which have had a very high gas rate posted in the environment. The renowned car company is also being investigated on charges of fraud and illegal promotion of products.
Munich prosecutors announced on June 13th that Audi's CEO was now part of their investigations and made a search at his home. Stadler has been with Volkswagen-Audi since 1994 and has held the highest leading position in Audi since 2007, two years ahead of suspected gas activities.
