Kosovo's Tax Administration has seen it reasonable to react to the Kosovo Republic Parliamentary MP Milaim Zeka's statement, which at yesterday's assembly session, has spoken about the remuneration of TVS for taxpayers.
Kosovo's Tax Administration says requirements for VAT reimbursement are always treated professionally and within legal terms.
“Linked to the way we repay, we inform ATK through electronic system. The EDI has created a new removation module, which is aimed at managing tax compensation requirements on the Added Value, Taxing on Personal Futures, and Taxing in Corporations, which are accepted electronically, with the tax release of taxpayers and offers ease for taxpayers, cutting time and reducing tax spending, and human resources savings at ATK<1>, the ATK response reported.
They say this has been done in order to minimize the subjectivism of tax officials, in the case of dealing with the taxpayers' compensation requirements.
“The ATK called on all taxpayers who have information that, in the case of their calls for repaying, they are faced with any behavior that is not in line with the code of ethics of tax officials and law in force, they report it to competent bodies. We also call on the prosecution bodies to investigate what any legal offense or benefits may have been made in this process”, the response of this institution concludes.
