Ethiopia police reported that six people were arrested as suspects in the blast, where at least one person died and 155 were injured by the blast in a rally.
The blast has occurred during a rally in support of newly elected Prime Minister Abhi Ahmed in Addis Ababa, who was present at the gathering.
Health Minister Amir Amman said the number of injured in the blast has increased to 155, nine of which are in critical condition for life.
