In the Commission for Legislation, Mandata, and Imutute, reviewing the pardon decree by President Hashim Thaci of the 11 April of this year was the point that even caused verbal clashes among members of this commission.
There was especially a clash between the chairman of this commission, Albulen Haxhiu and deputies Hajdar Beqa, Nezir Qoqaj, Shkumbin Demalija, and Bahrim Shaban from the non- majority community.
MPs from parties in office issued the Commission's meeting, in a sign of discontent for reviewing the decree at the request of citizen Arbenita Arifi.
According to MPs, Albulen Haxhiu (VV) and Frasher Krasniqi (PSD), President Hashim Thaci has made decree outside the rules.
While MP Hajdar Beqa has said this review is non-unconstitutional by the Commission, led by Albulen Haxhiu. According to him, this is political issue.
Due to lack of quorum, the Commission has stopped working..
