After completing the law school at the age of 24, she became a lawyer in Macomb County, Michigan, following the killings, drug crimes, attacks and domestic violence.
Her determination prompted her to address the U.S. Congress in 2016, Periscope broadcast.

The congressional race for Michigan, the 8th district, was very important, and not only for him but also for the community she has sought to represent in Washington. When she was asked about the main points in her campaign, she answered:
I fought for middle class families in Michigan, focusing on the issues that touched them. I wanted to help boost the economy by supporting small businesses that would create good jobs and strengthen our middle class. I've spent my childhood helping my family grow up and I know that small businesses are the life joint of our communities. I have fought for the full development of our renewable energy resources and have sought to bring us closer to full energy independence. Using new technologies and reconfigureing our energy resources, we can create good new countries and serve as an example of fighting climate change without sacrificing economic growth”.
Another fundamental issue on my case is the platform that will fight for a strong public education system that will offer to provide students with the skills they need to compete in the global economy of the 21st century.

The upgrade of schools and the ensuring of the best possible education for Michigan families begins with investing in our schools from pre-school to high school and beyond. Access to quality education opportunities is the key, but sustainability issues must also be addressed to ensure that every child in Michigan succeeds. As a product of schools and public universities in Michigan, I believe we have to make college and higher education more affordable for all those who want to earn a college degree”, she said.
Suzanne believes the diaspora' role in America and abroad should be to create organizational support for Albanians around the world to advance in all areas of life such as business growth or running into public offices. “The diaspora must join as first and most importantly, we are all Albanians, regardless of whether we are from the Great Mountain, Macedonia, Albania or Kosovo”, she said.
It suggests that Albanians should strengthen their networks by providing opportunities for the new generation, their communities and abroad.
For example, business owners can provide opportunities for young Albanians to work in their environments and teach them their trade and improve their skills. Clearly, Susan is committed to making the world a better place. She has the will to fight for what is right./Periscopi/
