Albania one of four countries supplying EU) fake, smuggled goods

Albania is one of four countries that supply counterfeit goods to the European Union, and one of the only two European countries on this list along with Ukraine. The other two countries are Morocco and Egypt, writes Koha Ditore today.

But besides EU countries, Albania also supplies the domestic market and those of neighbouring countries with fake products. Meanwhile, Turkey turns out to be Albania's number one supplier and its main ally in this illegal and dishonest trade.

This is the next report to this conclusion. Another report released earlier by the European Commission and Europol concluded that Albania is not only one of the main points of the transfer of smuggled goods to Europe, but also one of the countries most supplied to the domestic market and to neighbours with these types of products.
