Ahaz: Zero benefits from New Kosovo thermal power will have devastating consequences

Political analyst, part of Rockefeller Foot, Hakki Abazi, has spoken of signing the agreement with the American company “Contour Global”, for building the new thermal power plant “New Kosova” that envisions a 1.3 billion-euro investment in the construction of this thermal power plant that will produce 500 megaves hours, Periscop reports. Ahaz has said [...]
Ahaz has said that a lot of money has been spent on a project that, according to him, will have consequences of ruining the land and displacement of citizens.
It's worth millions of euros. Kosovo has no way of dealing with a document featuring research on this Termocentral, how it will affect the land and the health of citizens. You don't have a study like this, because they want such a deal to be made. Coal is underground, and soil is fertile soil from which the whole land is fed. Although there's a few linens there, it doesn't mean that the earth was destroyed”, Abazi said.
He has stated further that this project is fully for corruption, not for the interest of citizens.
The energy system has been put into the hands of politics. KEKU is in the hands of Thaci's cousins. This system is not in the hands of experts. This is to kill Kosovo financially. There are other long-term forms of sustainable energy supply. The good management of the Kosova B thermal power plant, and the closure of the Kosova A thermal power plant, had resolved the situation. We have also mentioned the construction of the transmission with Albania. New Kosovo thermal power plant has been a coal and smoke generator, hinders the small thermal power plant, becomes a political problem with the EU”, Abazi has said.
There's no evidence that there will be benefits. The only point here is that it will no longer affect Sami Lushtaku, and Thaci's cousins who will benefit tenders. No other gain will come. The profit is zero, and we're dependent on a thermal power plant that if we enter the EU, they're telling us we have to go to mshel”, Abazi said further. /Periscopi
