Over 43 million hectares of unused land will be provided for Russian and foreign citizens for free.

Russia appears to have surprised all after Putin has announced that in September this programme will be approved in the Vologists area.

The earth will be able to be taken not only by Russian citizens but also by foreigners who have received Russian citizenship.

But they will not be able to sell or rent land for the first five years. The Vologists area will offer 468,000 hectares in 14 areas of the region. Lands can be used for farms and livestock.
