“Facing an ever greater political crackdown, the Open Society Foundation will be shifted from Budapest to Germany's capital, Berlin”, the billionaire group confirms.
Patrick Gaspard, president of the Open Society Foundation, said our “work has been denigrated and misinterpreted”, while printing civil society is “is done for the sake of political interests”.
The group's decision has been taken based on the policies Hungary's legislature, dubbed “RT” Transmission Periscope.
Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban has repeatedly attacked billionaire Soros, accusing him of preparing to intervene in parliamentary elections by helping opposition groups.
“I know that they will not accept the outcome of the elections, they will do everything to devalue our victory, they have unlimited financial resources”, Orban said./Periscopi/
