From next week the Dehar case will be transferred to the Swiss Institute for Super-expertosis, as the family had agreed and the state had accepted, Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri said at the Assembly hearing.
At the time of parliamentary questions, Vetevendosje MP Sami Kurteshi said that since March 16, 2018, when Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri has reported to the Assembly, there is no more news about the process in the Dhari case for expertise in Switzerland.
What has been undertaken so far, or what will be undertaken?
Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri said the translation of the whole subject has been completed, and by next week it will be passed to the Swiss Institute.
This week's “has completed translation of the whole, material with about 3 thousand pages. I am informed by the State Prosecutor that the subject will be sent through the Swiss Embassy at the Swiss Institute from next week”, he said.
Astrit Dehari, a Vetevendosje activist, died on November 5, 2016, while being held at the Prizren Pre-burging Centre as suspected of grenade launching attack in the Assembly in August 2016.
The Kosovo Assembly in December 2016 adopted recommendations for the Dehar case, among which “the family could seek expertise from any EU country, or the US and Government to drop all expenses”.
The Dehari family decided in February 2017 that expertise in this case would be performed by the University of Legal Medicine Centre in French Switzerland.
