Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will participate in the EU Summit and leaders of the Western Balkans in Sofia on Thursday, 17 May. It will have more bilateral meetings in Bulgaria's capital.
Vuciq is travelling to Sofia today, where, as Tanjug learns, he will attend the European People's Party summit that day and talk to President Joseph Dol.
He will also have a bilateral meeting with Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurk, as well as World Bank Executive Chief Crystal Georgiev.
On the second day of his stay in Sofia, in addition to participating in the EU-Western Balkans Summit, Serbia's president will meet with Swedish Prime Minister Stephen Leven.
He said that a few days ago he would go to the EU Summit... the Western Balkans in Sofia if everything is okay, given that “Every day a new statement is made”.
And after a telephone conversation with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov confirmed participation and announced that it would contribute to stabilising the situation in the Western Balkans and said Serbia will continue to contribute to the European agenda to connect the region.
