Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has reacted to reports that Great Britain may ask the UN Security Council for Kosovo sessions to be removed or closed to the public. Serbia has interpreted this information as a tendency to pressure Serbia on the Kosovo issue.
Vuciq said this tendency was not from yesterday.
“This is trying to do not only Great Britain, but also America, France and those are countries that have known Kosovo for a long time. They say there are no problems in Kosovo and thus, there is no need to be reported every six months, but we will go to the plenary meetings. They have been working for a long time at this point and have almost completed their work regarding Kosovo, Vuciq has said, broadcast Periscope.
Vuciq has said it is by no means easy to continue fighting in this way.
The ongoing period will be crucial but difficult for our country, our citizens and our people. I expect that further pressure on us will increase even more, but we will make efforts to find a proper compromise. We expect what they have to offer Serbia and then we will make decisions”, Vuciq has said, writes Periscopi.
He has cited the continued assistance Russia gives Serbia regarding Kosovo and expects that this will happen further.
Vuciq has said he will also discuss with Chinese friends.
We're in a situation where whatever you do feels on your knees and whatever you do is not good. So, every day, Belgrade cafes sit down and talk about how Mourinho and Guardilla have no idea football what they're saying about us now”, Vuciq said. /Periscopi/
