Turkish Foreign Minister Eitan Naeh has asked the Israeli envoy to release the country “for an indefinite time”.
The immediate response to this came from the Israeli foreign minister, who ordered the Turkish consul to return from Jerusalem to home “for consultations”.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza has indicated that most of the Palestinians killed were shot by Israeli weapons. Among the victims is an eight - month - old baby who died along with eight other children under the age of 16 because of a tear gas absorption.
The blood feud came after the opening ceremony of the American Embassy in Jerusalem, which triggered major protests in Muslim countries.
Turkey has declared three days of mourning across the country, while President Recep Erdogan accused Israel's prime minister of leading a state where the apartheid is being exercised.
