Turkish President Recep Erdogan's previous meeting with Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vuciq appears to have now begun to deliver the results.
The main theme of this meeting has been an infrastructure project to build the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway, which has been discussed for more than a year.
Serbia's Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Minister Rasim Ljaciq is now expected to visit Turkey. He has said that during his visit he will discuss conditions of highway financing by Turkish investors.
This is the largest infrastructure project to discuss, including the ways and conditions of funding, for which reconciliation has not yet been reached.
“It is important to implement agreement reached with Erdogan during his visit to Belgrade, Belgrade highway -Sarajevo will be a topic of discussion, and the most important thing is to send a new message to Turkish investors -- that they are welcome and that Serbia is a good destination”, he said, reports b92, as Kosovo Press.
The minister has explained far that Serbia is struggling to achieve a low interest rate for the highway.
