Special Prosecutor of the United States Robert Mueller has given a list of questions to U.S. President Donald Trump as part of the investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election.
Although Mueller's team has shown Trump's lawyers that the president is currently not a target, some of his actions may still pose an obstacle to justice.
The list includes questions about former FBI Director James Come's dismissal from office, reports “DW” Transmission Periscope.
Comey was leading the investigation into Russian intervention at the time Trump fired him in 2017.
Other questions include former Trump campaign leaders Paul Manafort about links he had to Russian officials. Manafort is facing several charges from Mueller, including money laundering and slander through banks and taxes, but no one is so close to the work he did during Trump's election campaign in 2016.
The report includes former national security adviser Michael Flynn's statement, who had earlier lied about Russian intervention in American presidential elections.
Mueller has so far indicted 22 people in his investigation. On the other hand, Trump has criticised Mueller's investigations, describing them as the <x0->jug of witches”./Periscopi/
