The touching story of the mother who was once forgiven and then executed her son.

She still cries and reviews that day over and over again: “How is this possible? How can everything change in just half a day? If he was executed, why did they tell us he was forgiven?

She recalls: “On Monday (April 16th) we went to prison to say goodbye. They would hang him the next morning. We went to everyone and any organization that we could think of, to ask for help; but there was no result of”; until “a man called and enthusiastically told me that Bahman was forgiven, and the execution was canceled”.

I couldn't believe what I heard, so I asked him several times to confirm. All the details were correct. I was so happy that I could barely breathe. I shared the news with my husband. We were celebrating; our relatives and our friends visited us also to praise us. We also talked to Bahman on the phone. He kept thanking me for my prayers and went on to say that he owed me his life”.

Unfortunately, their happiness did not last long. While Bahman's forgiveness news (which, as stated by some, was adopted by top officials) was published in the media, the judiciary Hamedan was denying the news and attributed false information to certain judicial errors.

Bahman's lawyer was also informed that the execution would be carried out next morning at Hamedan's prison.

That was incredible. The Bahman family was shocked, as only hours ago they were celebrating the annulment of his sentence.

His mother even describes how she had received the consent of more than 300 local residents and merchants in the area where Bahman had robbed.

But the trial insisted on Bahman's execution because of the <x0-terror and fear” he had caused others.

Despite earlier criminal records, Bahman was executed at 6:30 on Tuesday, April 17, 2018.
