Serbia's National Commission has unveiled Yugoslavia's biggest secret, which has been kept secret for 33 years, opening the safe for Yugoslav head of state Josip BrozTito.
After Tito's death on May 4th 1980, according to the Yugoslav Socialist Federation's decision all Tito's personal belongings were locked in a safe.
Some of these personal items were given only to the National Bank of Serbia.
Tito's medals have not been preserved by the National Bank of Serbia.
These medals are set to be released to public, the state to hold the originals, while the family has been given copies of medals as well as compensation for copies.
At the meeting of Yugoslavia's Headship, held on 30 March 1982, Secretary General Ivan Dolnicar had announced members of the Headship about Josip Broz Tito's legacy.
