I have just arrived in Sofia, where I have held the first meeting with European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy High Representative Federica Moghrini.
We have talked with him about the importance of Kosovo's participation in the historic EU Summit with Western Balkan states and the clear European perspective of Kosovo and our neighbours.
We have talked about the visa liberalisation process and the expectations of Kosovo citizens to move this free year to the Schengen area.
With Mrs. Moghrin, we also talked about the necessity of continuing dialogue on normalising relations with Serbia.
In this case, at the initiative of Mrs. Moghrin I have held a joint meeting with him and with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.
We agreed that the final phase of dialogue on normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia will begin in the near future, with a unique support of the EU, the US and other actors.
Therefore, it is a new moment that requires mobilization of all political forces, civil society and media in Kosovo, because the outcome of the process will be recognition of Kosovo by Serbia and our UN membership.
This meeting is evidence of Kosovo's commitment to good dialogue and neighbourhood, just one day before the summit began in Sofia. HTH/Periscopi
