Thaci seeks support from Greece for liberalisation

President Hashim Thaci has met with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tspiras, within the framework of the Sofia summit, which is being held between the countries of the European Union and the Western Balkans.

Thaci has sought support from him for the visa liberalisation process.

“With Greece's prime minister, Alexis Tsipras, we discussed intensifying co-operation in our region and increasing economic exchanges between Kosovo and Greece. The Greek prime minister also called for support for the visa liberalisation process and Kosovo's membership in the European Union”, Thaci wrote.
